Sunday daggers

First, Sidney Crosby. Then, Jimmie Johnson. Could it have been a worse Sunday afternoon?

Brad's Cheaters easily swept into victory lane for the second consecutive week, giving him a huge head start against the rest of the league. His team score of 45 was not so much the story of the day as the runner-up: Joe's Paper Chasers finished second in the team race for the third consecutive week, but has yet to crack the money earnings. That should change soon, though, as soon as Scott Speed settles into the 30s as he should.

Meanwhile, after a team win the first week, my Redneck Tribe Motorsports sucked tailpipe in finishing last for the second week in a row.

Joe, Quang and Todd will look to break through next week ... if the F'ing 48 car lets them.

Up next: Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta, 1 p.m. Sunday, a $7/$14 event.
